15th Festival of Tolerance

Festival of tolerance maintains the tradition of joining people through films, lectures, exhibitions as well as through good music. In addition to the rich film and side programme, this year's Festival brings unmissable concert performances.

For that reason, promotion of the idea of tolerance through visual and applied arts makes an important part of the Festival of Tolerance. Once again, the Festival of Tolerance will make Zagreb’s cultural programme richer with very intriguing exhibitions. The 15th edition of the Festival puts an accents on the importance of accepting and respecting diversity and basic principles of equality and justice while tackling a burning global problem – refugees.

Following its tradition, the 15th edition of the Festival of Tolerance will bring a series of discussions about the films, which will be screened as part of the Festival’s program sections.Current social phenomena (refugee crisis, migration, growing intolerance and fascism, and the activism of artists) seem to reveal growing social and cultural antagonisms and the need to talk about the injustice, insisting on the dialogue and collaboration on levels of the community is now more significant than ever.
